❤️ Our New Partnership with the Animal Rescue Leage of Iowa
Rusty’s Retreat is proud to partner with the Animal Rescue League of Iowa to help deserving dogs find their forever homes. Through this partnership, the ARL places select adoptable dogs at our facility so the community can meet them in a calm, friendly environment.
Our current guest is Red, a 1‑year‑old Red Merle Heeler mix who “loves people and companionship” and “will likely open up more once he’s in a home environment and has had time to decompress.” He’s already neutered, microchipped, and up‑to‑date on vaccinations, and he’s ready to meet his future family. You’re welcome to stop by Rusty’s Retreat any weekday from 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM — no appointment needed. If you’d like to meet Red on the weekend, just give us a call and we’ll happily set up a time that works for you.
