Our Mission
At Rusty's Retreat, our mission is to provide a safe, fun, and comfortable place for dogs to play, rest, and feel at home. As a premier dog boarding and dog daycare facility, our caring, trained team treats every pup like family, ensuring they're well looked after and enjoying a tail wagging good time throughout their stay. We are dedicated to offering exceptional pet services that make every visit enjoyable.
Our Facility
Rusty's Retreat offers exceptional dog boarding services, ensuring every dog has plenty of space, comfort, and calm. Each pup enjoys a spacious 5x10 run with their own private cozy cabin. We provide raised cots and soft blankets to guarantee that every dog can rest comfortably. Additionally, all pups have outdoor time to enjoy fresh air and burn off energy throughout the day, making it an ideal setting for dog daycare as well.
At Rusty's Retreat, all required vaccine records must be submitted at least 1 week before your dog's stay. This includes Rabies, Distemper/Parvo (DHPP), and Bordetella. For added protection, we recommend vaccinations for canine influenza, a negative fecal test, and flea/tick/heartworm preventative as part of our comprehensive pet services.
Hours:
Drop‑off and pick‑up are by appointment only. Because our staff schedules let‑out times and care blocks around these windows, early or late arrivals may require a reschedule, a wait period, or incur a day boarding fee. If your plans change, please contact us ahead of time so we can adjust your dog’s care schedule.
Monday-Friday:
Check in: 3pm-6pm
Check out- 7am-11am
Saturday-Sunday:
7-9am or 5-6:30pm
Early check-in or late check-out may be available depending on space and staffing. Any check-in before 3pm or departure after 11am will be billed as a day‑boarding stay at $32. Please contact us ahead of time so we can confirm availability.
Add-ons
Our dog boarding add-ons provide your pup with a little extra comfort, fun, and enrichment during their stay. Each option is designed to enhance their experience with us, making their time even more enjoyable. Our pet services include: 1/2 day of dog daycare, private playtime, a stuffed Kong or lick mat, and an exit bath.
What should I bring?
We provide raised beds, blankets, and bowls for all boarding dogs. Please bring your dog’s food pre‑portioned in individual bags or in a single gallon‑size Ziplock bag. Large food bags over 10 pounds cannot be accepted.
You’re welcome to bring your dog’s own blanket or bed, but please note that some dogs may chew or destroy personal items. Toys are allowed as long as they do not contain stuffing or squeakers.
